Message: Had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Inn! Would stay there again for sure! Right in the heart of the historic district and was so charming! Bed and linens were super comfy! Upon arrival, we were early and went to drop our bags off- it was raining pretty hard out and all of the umbrellas were in use - the woman at the concierge desk was Coral - she offered us her own umbrella to use - was such a nice way to start off our stay! Also the chef prepared breakfast each morning in the courtyard were phenomenal! Best biscuits and grits ever! Truly a lovely place, hope to visit again!

Message: This is THE perfect quaint little place to stay at if you’re looking for a historic experience. The garden on the property is so beautiful. It’s located at Jones st. which is one of the most beautiful streets in Savannah. Close to good restaurants and parks. About 17 minutes walk to the river/downtown area.. The property is well maintained and clean. The breakfast and the evening snacks were very delicious, thanks to chef Mike and the team. All the staff members were so welcoming and helpful. Thanks to Tess, Sherryl, Koral and Chef Mike and the cleaning crew that made our trip so memorable.

Message: The staff was amazing, very attentive and looked to give great attention to every detail. The first two nights we stayed in a one queen size bedroom, moderate amenities but the bed was like made out of straw and the bed frame very dirty. It was horrible. We had to change rooms for the third night and the staff was very accommodating and put us on the main level floor with two queen-size rooms. The bathroom was elevated by two steps with no hand holds or support so definitely a person with ADA would definitely not use this room. We came for Saint Patrick's Day and were required to do three nights in order to stay in the location we wanted to which was mid-town. The location where we stayed was perfect for the parade which is why we picked it. The breakfast was adequate but nothing spectacular based on the limited menu and food budget. Chef Michael was wonderful! He asked every morning if everything was good. The late night appetizers were below scale for what I believe this hotel could be capable of. One night was a biscuit with a meatball in the center of it with some cheese over it. I think management can do a better job on the menu and make it a little more upscale. Maybe fresh fruit and cheese with a simple popover. I will say the best part of the stay was the staff who were extremely accommodating, polite and attentive to detail. The second thing is location, it's close to everything you want to see in downtown Savannah the river walk the shops, the pubs.

Message: This was the perfect property to experience Savannah. Our room was very nice and clean. It overlooked the courtyard. Before bed we put in our orders for breakfast with the front desk and then in the morning we enjoyed our hot breakfast in the courtyard. In the evenings there was a cocktail hour with appetizers and wine followed a couple hours later by a dessert and coffee hour. All in the parlor with a warm fire going. The house is centrally located for walking and the staff was very helpful with suggestions for anything we wanted to see or do. I highly recommend the Eliza Thompson House and look forward to visiting again in the future.

Message: Outstanding accommodations! From the moment we arrives until we departed things were on point! Staff was helpful and friendly! The breakfast was great with friendly service! After wine gathering was a great way to meet other guest while relaxing a bit before dinner. Evening Port and desert was a great way to end the day! Rooms were quiet comfortable! A great location to walk thru town to all attractions as well as restaurants.

Message: The location is perfect and within walking distance to the river and Forsyth Park and so nice and quiet. We stayed in the carriage house and enjoyed looking out the window into the beautiful courtyard. Every employee very polite. Robert and Nell were helpful in suggesting restaurants and activities. The breakfasts were delicious and I so appreciated coffee, tea, water and soft drinks available all the time as well as the nightly desserts. One night there was an acoustic guitarist playing in the courtyard during happy hour. If I ever return to Savannah I will be booking a room at the Eliza Thompson House and have recommended it to friends and family.
