Message: Really fun place. Food and drinks were amazing. The staff are really nice and friendly and it was really cool to see the alligators. The place is clean as well. we visited on a rainy day so we didn't get to spend as much time outside by the alligators but it was still a lot of fun. I would for sure recommend stopping if you are in the area.

Message: Fell in love with the atmosphere this place has. Loved sitting outside beneath the gorgeous large trees with the cool breeze. The Captain's sampler platter was excellent choice. Some of the potatoes were a little undercooked, but the food was so good anyway! I highly recommend. You can taste a variety of seafood, and the crab was especially amazing because it was so full of meat. This place was really really busy but our server was super friendly, thoughtful, and she was working non-stop. After lunch we went outside of restaurant to see the alligators. What a wonderful experience! Our first experience in this place was just PERFECT! Will definitely come back again!

Message: The best seafood I’ve had in a VERY long time. So much to choose from and the environment is equally 5-star! If there is a wait (which we didn’t have) there are gators to look out in the front and a gift shop with very exotic birds in a different room. Very entertaining! It looks like just a bunch of shacks when you drive up, but don’t let that throw you off, it’s the charm of it. The second you step foot onto the actual restaurant you’ll get it. It’s AMAZING. I will definitely be back!

Message: This is one of the most unique places we have ever ate at. This was such a great atmosphere. So original. The day we ate, it was 97 degrees out, but with the fans and mister spraying it helped knock the temperature down. Just remember, you will be eating outside. Of course that's the best part of this place. My wife and I ordered the captain crabs sample player for 2. It was a ton of food. The seafood was fair to good, but I have had seafood from many places and know what excellent seafood tastes like. Don't let that scare you off though. I would definitely eat here again. It was one of the coolest places I've ever ate at. I mean where else can you pull up on a boat and get served, feed alligators, and get screamed at by talking parrots.

Message: We thoroughly enjoyed the food and service at The Crab Shack! We made a loop down to St. Simons and back up around Tybee. I believe the sea food we ate here was better than any on the whole trip. Not only is the food outstanding, but our server was the best I’ve seen in a long time, not just on this trip. She came by very frequently to make sure we had drinks filled and didn’t need anything else. To top off the experience, our kids enjoyed seeing the live gators. It was a little different on this trip, because they were catching the larger ones for transport and getting ready to release new baby alligators! Very awesome place and experience! Worth making another trip down just to eat here!

Message: Loved the atmosphere of this restaurant. Very popular and I can see why. Great food. Lots to look at. Right by the water. Service was great. The Alaskan Crab was $99 pound and a half. It was delicious. The snow crab was $63 for two pounds. It was good, but liked the Alaska Crab better for the price. They sell local beer in a can no beer on tap. They had a great mixed drink menu too!

Message: Great food! I love how their tables have a whole in the middle to dispense trash. I didn't get any crabs, but I can see how that would be super helpful. I had a brisket sandwich. It was delicious. The place is surprisingly large, so you won't have to wait for a seat probably ever. Don't expect to eat healthy here. You won't find a salad, but you will eat well and will be glad for the calories you do consume. The decoration is super fun! It's a whole experience.

Message: My family loved the atmosphere of eating outside beneath the large trees. The food is good and the service was friendly. There will be a line when you arrive, but it moves quickly and you will be seated in no time.. Go. You won't be disappointed.. Note - if you get the platter, realize that they give you a lot of food. We got two 4 person platters and it was too much food.
